Sonya Aloe Nourishing Serum Review

I was recently contacted by a friend’s sister who is a reflexologist and wanted some opinions on her website and whether she should have a blog on it or not. Claire Park is a fully qualified reflexologist based in Surrey so if you are in that area, please check out her website http://www.claireparktherapies.com/

Anyway, as we chatted Claire told me that she was also a Forever Living Independent Distributor and asked if she could send me a product to try out. I have heard of Forever Living but didn’t really know much about them other than  they specialise in Aloe Vera based products.

Anyway I readily agreed and Claire kindly sent me Sonya Aloe Nourishing Serum.

This serum is designed to be used morning and night, after cleansing and toning but before moisturising. The main ingredients are Aloe Vera, White Tea, Mimosa Bark extract and Vitamin E and the product is designed to preserve and replenish moisture. I’m not going to go into the claims of the ingredients other than to say that there are vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants and bioflavonoids!

So what do I think? Well firstly, the packaging. Not a fan. Like the glass bottle, glass bottles always make a product seem expensive and great hygenic pump. The design however kind of makes the product look like it’s been lurking in the back of your Nan’s medicine cupboard for 40 years… but I suppose that’s irrelevant. It’s what’s inside that counts!

It’s a typical serum, has that strange typical serum feel, kind of silky. It’s very lightweight, absorbs into the skin super fast, and has a nice light scent. If a product disagrees with me I know pretty damn quick as I get awful spots. Yes you Bourjois Mineral Matte and 100% Organics. Nothing of the sort with this stuff, just lovely silky smooth skin thank you. It’s a nice product to have and use but I don’t notice any outstanding improvements to justify the £31.75 price tag. That said I often think its hard to judge a product when you’re using it with other brands, I should think the whole range used together might be pretty nice.

Anyway, if you’re interested at all in this product, other products in the Sonya range or any other Forever Living products please have a look at Claire’s other website http://myflpbiz.com/esuite/home/shopinclairepark

There’s a wealth of information on there as well as some nice looking products!
