Regular readers will know that whilst loving my Rouge Bunny Rouge shadows I was struggling to get them onto my eyelid whilst keeping the true colours.
I had lots of tips from people, including someone at Rouge Bunny Rouge who read my post and so this is just a little post to tell you all that I’ve been practicising and I think I’ve finally cracked it thankfully!
So here’s Mountain Bluebird (which I just couldn’t get to apply as anything more than a sheer wash!) and a smidge of Unforgettable Oriole.
That’s much more like it! Basically I fixed the problem with time! A good layer of primer potion and then lots of care, attention and time! I built up lots of layers basically. Only using two colours so that blending is kept to a minimum. Then gently blending out the edges before applying another layer of colour and so on until the depth of colour I require is built up!
I’ve also tried this with more colours I was struggling with and I think this will work. I’m just not used to having to work so hard with products! I guess I’m just more of a slap it on kind of a girl, but now when I have a little more time I’ll be confidantly able to reach for my beautiful Rouge Bunny Rouge shadows!
So thanks to everyone who tried to help me out with tips. I think I took a bit of everyone’s advice!
