The Denman Be-Bop Shower Brush is a bit of an odd thing…on the website it’s listed as a men’s product which makes sense given the problems I’ve had with it. This brush would work amazingly well on short hair to massage product in.
I have fine hair, lots of it though and this brush doesn’t manage to get through my hair all that well to massage my scalp. In theory it would be fantastic for combing through conditioner, and perhaps if your hair is relatively tangle free then this brush might be perfect for you.
The way you hold the brush is to place the flat of your hand through the handle as shown in the picture above, but there’s one problem, the handle can pop open… so when my hair is wet as soon as it hits a snag the handle pops open rendering it useless.
So whilst I’ve not got on with this brush at all it’s not all bad, my husband, with his short hair, can get a great massage with it and the brush works very well on my daughters who have jaw length fine hair. I think I could make this work if only the handle didn’t open, I haven’t yet worked out a reason they’ve made it that way, because it’s the main reason this isn’t working for me.
So, the Denman Be-Bop, a fail for me alas, a win for the rest of my family. If you fancy trying one of these out, then they are a really reasonable price of £2.87 from www.denmanbrush.com.
