Estee Lauder Pure Color Stay-On Shadow Paints

It’s been a quite some time since I’ve been able to show you any new Estee Lauder launches but here we are back with some new bits and I’m pleased to say they are insanely good!

I was sent a few bits, what I thought were four of the New Pure Color Stay-On Shadow Paints, and a mascara, but it turned out to be three Shadow Paints and one Double Wear Stay In Place Gel Liner.

Left to Right we have the Double Wear Stay In Place Gel Eyeliner in Extreme Emerald, and then the Stay-on Shadow Paints in Neon Fuchsia , Steel and Halo.

Swatches of all of the above:

In addition I was sent the Sumptous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara in Extreme Emerald.

I’m going to show you how I wore all of the above and then after I’ll talk about how I found them (but I can’t resist just mentioning in passing they were all nothing short of amazing!).

Here’s Neon Fuchsia, worn as a liner:

Here’s the Extreme Emerald Eyeliner and the Extreme Emerald Mascara on the bottom lashes.

And then the Shadow Paints in Steel and Halo worn together, although they didn’t photograph well this is my favourite way to wear them, the combination of the warm and cool shades, so soft and subtle, is a really lovely day look.

Firstly the Extreme Emerald Mascara, not my first experience of a Sumptous Extreme Mascara, and I’m a big fan of the formula. Extreme Emerald is so bright and vivid I wasn’t brave enough to go with it on all my lashes, but it is fab, and looks wonderful on the bottom lashes as a pop of colour. If you like coloured mascaras, you can’t go wrong with this. Such a great mascara, £22.

The Extreme Emerald Stay-in Place Gel Eyeliner (£17) is also amazing. So vivid and does not budge. Not one little bit. Put it on first thing in the morning, it will be pristine at 10pm at night, perhaps a little faded, but still bright awesome green. I’ll be looking for more of these, I’m thinking Stay Midnight and Stay Coffee.

Finally the Shadow Paints, I’ve got to say I’m blown away by these. A cream eyeshadow that doesn’t crease. Not one bit. And like the eyeliner, it stays put ALL day. When you remove your make up at the end the day, you’ll be removing immaculate make up. The colours are amazing. I found the Neon Fuchsia needed a bit of building up as on one pass it was a bit patchy, I had to go over the line a few times to get my desired depth of colour, but it took seconds, so that’s really nit picking. These are £19 each which does seem like a lot but these are the only cream shadows that don’t crease, well of all that I’ve tried, not only that but they stay where you put them all day. And the colours are beautiful. I’m thinking Pink Zinc, Sinister and Bold Cobalt today.

You have got to check these out, they are outstanding.
