Packaging to die for. These lipstick are amazingly packaged. Quality feel? check, holographic? check, unicorns? check, pink/purple? check!
Today I’ve got two Lime Crime Opaque lipsticks in Geradium and the newly released Babette to show you. Geradium is on the left and Babette on the right.
Both colours are lovely, absolutely gorgeous but I don’t think Babette suits me too well, but Geradium is just my kind of colour!
Lets have a closer look at Geradium.
Swoon, it’s just the most gorgeous colour!
And then Babette, which is equally as gorgeous but doesn’t suit me so well. This has been much anticipated by Lime Crime fans and I can see why, it’s a gorgeous shade.
There’s a great range of colours to choose from, both traditional and non traditional… I think I’ll be skipping yellow! In terms of formula these are truly as described, opaque. Opaque in one pass of the bullet too. They wear very well too. I find them a little thicker than other lipsticks I’ve tried, but not unpleasantly so and I think it’s the thickness that really aids the longevity.
Older reviews I’ve read of these lipsticks complained a bit about the texture and the staining. I don’t mind the texture, perhaps they’ve been reformulated? And I suffered no staining.
Available from Cocktail Cosmetics where they’ll set you back £11.50 each.
